Allen
Johnson spent 15 years in the IT industry from Trainee Operator to
Data Centre Manager with computer manufacturers, electronics
manufacturers and the brewing industry. He has been involved
with Business Continuity Management for 20 years and a Consultant
for 12 years. He created acclaimed methodologies for testing and
exercising emergency plans. He has worked extensively in IT,
finance, manufacturing, services, insurance and public sectors,
throughout the UK and EMEA. He is a recognised industry spokesman
and a contributory author to “The Definitive Handbook of
Business Continuity Management”, published by John Wiley &
Sons Ltd., ISBN 0-471-98622-4.

Peter
has almost 20 years experience working within the insurance and
risk management sectors, of which 12 were in commercial insurance
broking on behalf of a number of multinational and UK-based
brokers. During this period he was responsible for the research,
design, development and marketing of many successful commercial
insurance schemes and facilities. More recently he was in
charge of business development at the independent disaster
recovery and business continuity firm Ark & General Ltd.,
prior to its acquisition by the ISS Group. Whilst at Ark &
General Peter set up and managed a software development operation
in the Czech Republic, designing business continuity and
operational risk management software and related products.

Christopher
Wigdor is a public relations and crisis management expert
specialising in issues affecting reputations, especially those
issues that may involve hostile media. His career is in mainstream
public relations consultancy, where he gained considerable
experience of crisis management. His clients range from
individuals to businesses, in the UK and abroad. Some are
well-known and in the public eye, while others prefer to remain
discreet. What they all have in common is a need to protect and
preserve their reputation, their business, and their net worth.
Over the last 10 years he has been instrumental in developing
methods for combining business continuity and communications
testing and exercising, which have been provided to over one
hundred and thirty organisations in the UK and further afield.
A key element of his work is media training for press, radio and
television, which he provides at the University of Surrey's
television studios in Guildford both for his own clients and also
on behalf of the university.

Gary
is a senior member of the consulting team. He is a
successful, hands-on Business Continuity consultant with
extensive experience in IT Systems, Call Centre Technologies
and IT Project Management. He has over ten years
experience in Business Continuity Management. During this
time he has delivered BC projects in the UK, Europe and Middle
East for a variety of clients, predominantly in the Financial
Services sector. Gary is a Member of the Business
Continuity Institute (MBCI) and holds a Masters Degree in IT
Management.
